What’s the difference between Budget and balance?

The Budget is the minimum amount of money you want available every week on your Satispay account. The balance is the amount of money left on your account. 

If you transfer or receive money during the week your Budget will stay the same, but your balance will increase or shrink, depending on the movements of your Satispay account. 

What happens if I do not have enough Balance to make the payment? 

😁 If your Savings cover the amount of your payment: you can make the payment and your Balance will go negative.

To bring your Balance back to positive you have two options:
1. withdraw money from your Savings
2. make a top-up by bank transfer

😭 If your Savings do not cover the cost of the payment: you can make the payment and your Balance will go negative. We will immediately provide you with a free* instant top-up to bring your Balance back to €0.
