Reverse payments with Satispay Business

Need to reverse a payment? No problem! 

With Satispay Business you can make a refund in these ways: 

Refunds for Physical Stores

You can make a refund on mobile devices (iOS and Android) and certain cash registers and Pos PAX within 30 minutes of collecting the payment.

💡You can make a full or partial refund. Remember, however, that in both cases the transaction is irreversible!

⚠️You can refund only if the sum of the collections, which have not yet been credited to your bank account, is equal to or greater than the amount you want to refund*

Refunds for Online Stores

Reimbursement is available on e-commerce plugins or via Online API up to 365 days from the date of payment 📆

💡You can make a full or partial refund. Remember, however, that in both cases the transaction is irreversible!

⚠️You can refund only if the sum of the collections, which have not yet been credited to your bank account, is equal to or greater than the amount you want to refund*

*If there is no remaining balance you will have to proceed with the refund through other channels (e.g., wire transfer) in agreement with the customer.

How can I refund a transaction via Pos PAX?

To reverse a transaction from Pos PAX you will need to:

  • press the "FUNC" button on the Pos
  • select "Satispay"
  • select "Refund transaction (Storno transazione)”
  • choose the payment to be reversed and press "Enter" to confirm

If the procedure is successful, the transaction is reversed from the Pos and the customer will immediately see the amount returned on their Satispay app 🚀

⚠️Only the last three accepted transactions can be reversed from the Pos.
