How can I send money to a contact? 

Sending money to your contacts is fast and easy, you just need to:

  • Tap on Contacts
  • Click on Send or request
  • Select the desired contact > type in the amount > tap on Pay.

You can also enter a comment or a GIF, if you wish (e.g. gift for Marco). 

The selected amount will be immediately withdrawn from your Balance and sent to the receiver, who will be notified via app.
We suggest you verify that you have granted Satispay access to the contact book on your device.

Recurring payments to your contacts

You can also set up a recurring payment to one or more contacts. In this way a money transfer from your Balance to the one of your contact will be automatically sent on a day of your choice.

To do so:

  • Tap on Contacts > click on Send or request > See recurring payments
  • Click on Set recurring payments 
  • Enter the receiver, provider, amount and frequency
  • Tap on Save to save the changes.

As an alternative you can set a recurring payment by:

  • Clicking on the desired contact in the Contacts section
  • Clicking on the clock shaped icon in the payment screen

You can change these settings, temporarily suspend or deactivate a recurring payment to a contact at any time. To do so, tap on See recurring payments, select the contact > Manage recurring payment  > Pause / Edit / Delete.

What happens if I don’t have enough money in my Balance to transfer e-money to another user?

If you have enough funds in your Money Box(es) (savings), the transfer is executed and a negative value would be displayed in your Balance. 

You can then move your savings or top up your account to increase your money in the Balance.

However if your total Balance (Balance + Savings) is not sufficient, your payment won’t be performed.

In any case we suggest you increase your Budget to avoid inconvenience.
